Andrew Miller Upper Deck SP Authentic letterman cards - COMPLETED

Two and half years I pulled Andrew Miller letter "L" card from a pack of 2007 Upper Deck SP Authentic. I made it my mission to track the down cards to spell out his last name. I spent time on Ebay hoping come across the letters and be the winning bidder for it. Despite often missed opportunities, slowly I end up being the winning bidder obtaining the cards starting with E then L, M, and I. Last week I finally got the winning bid for the letter "R" to complete it. Today it came in the mail and here it is. Andrew Miller last name spelled out with his letterman cards. It's a long road and proud of myself in completing it. Now back to trying complete few more sets.

The Hits Keep Getting Bigger for Upper Deck

Four months into the year things have spiraled out of control for Upper Deck. Konami (counterfeit Yugi-Oh cards) and MLB (trademark infringement) have sued the company which they settled for millions of dollars. They are no longer exclusive producer of NHL cards as Panini given a right to print in 2011 alongside with them. On Thursday they dealt with another big blow as Upper Deck announced it could not come to terms with NFL Properties therefore will not make football card sets in 2011. While Upper Deck set the trend on producing and designing cards the management still continue to be morons acting they are bigger than the world. It ended up biting them in the ass resulting from loss of sport's league license and lawsuits. Due to their mismanagement sport card collectors are the ones that are affected. Despite having a license with NCAA and NHL to produce cards will it be enough for Upper Deck or is the end coming soon?

Upper Deck redemption card a success

Look what came in the mail today! It's 2009-10 Upper Deck basketball draft edition Jrue Holiday Jordan Brand Classic game-used redemption card. How long did it took to come in after redeeming the card online? 28 days which is much faster than Upper Deck 45-day redemption card goal. After too many horror stories of redemption cards at least I have success on this. Good job to Upper Deck for getting this out within 45-day time frame. It's a damn good card as well
